Markel is seeking a Product Development Specialist to develop insurance policy forms for new and revised coverages and to draft related insurance documents. The role involves researching coverage forms, ensuring regulatory compliance, and preparing documentation for filings and state requests.

You will mentor colleagues, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and contribute to special projects while applying strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in development of insurance coverage forms.
• Conceptualize and create insurance forms and endorsements.
• Interpret state laws and regulations in the policy life cycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal ability.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.

Responsabilités

• Develop policy forms for new and revised coverages, conveying underwriting intent and market competitiveness.
• Identify and confirm regulatory compliance.
• Prepare documentation for filings and State Department of Insurance requests.
• Assist, mentor and share knowledge with PRS associates.
• Foster relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Participate in special projects as requested.
