Job summary

The State of Maryland is seeking an analyst to design and maintain interactive reports and dashboards that translate complex student and workforce data into timely, policy-relevant insights. You will prepare legislatively mandated reports and handle data requests for state agencies.

Reporting to the Director of Reporting Services, you will apply advanced analytics, ensure privacy compliance, and represent the MLDS Center at hearings and meetings while supporting decision-makers across education

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Six years of administrative staff or professional work.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-impact interactive reports and dashboards for policy insights.
Produce legislatively mandated reports and dashboards by deadlines; handle special projects.
Fulfill general data requests and analyses for state agencies and institutions.
Apply advanced analytics using statistical software to improve workflows.
Ensure data privacy and governance compliance in all outputs.
Represent the MLDS Center at hearings, meetings, and conferences.
