Job summary

OBAN Corporation is seeking an experienced policy analyst to support government clients in the Washington, DC area. You will coordinate complex projects, review materials, and prepare reports detailing program efficacy and policy recommendations.

The role requires evaluating proposed legislation, presenting analyses to committees, and ensuring AI-generated outputs align with evidence. A BS/BA/MS/MA degree with 9+ years of relevant experience and security clearances is required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA/MS/MA degree and minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required government security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates complex projects using management analysis to identify policy options and impacts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinates complex projects which utilize management analysis and research techniques to identify: short, medium, and long-term policy options, impacts of policies to stakeholders & laws, and priorities.
• Coordinates the review of materials.
• Prepares reports detailing the efficacy of programs and policies, strengths, weaknesses, and recommendations.
• Assesses the impact of proposed legislation and prepared fiscal estimates.
• Presents analyses and recommendations to committees.
• Reviews outputs of AI tools to assess whether data have been appropriately synthesized and AI content logically aligns with evidence. High level of knowledge of program, policy, and funding issues.
• Strong public presentation skills.
• Provides editorial and content feedback.
• Evaluates policy principles to describe values driving decisions and directions.
• Reviews requests and answers questions regarding policies and procedures.

Bachelor of Science (BS), Bachelor of Arts (BA), Master of Science (MS) or Master of Arts (MA) degree and minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required government security clearances.
