Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Policy Analyst to support TEAM UP’s scalable, sustainable approach to pediatric behavioral health policy and financing. The role analyzes policy developments, conducts landscape assessments, and translates findings into actionable recommendations for expansion and implementation planning.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years in health policy, with strong writing and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, health policy, public policy, health services research, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong research, analysis, and synthesis skills with the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Experience developing written products for internal and external audiences and working with partners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis of health policy and financing relevant to TEAM UP’s work in Massachusetts and nationally.
• Develop landscape analyses, organize findings, and produce reports with key recommendations.
• Translate findings for leadership and project teams to inform planning and expansion.
• Prepare policy briefs, white papers, presentations, and funder reports.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare materials, and maintain stakeholder connections for external engagements.
