You will manage client matters, draft bill text and other legal documents, and provide strategic counsel to clients and staff. Our firm offers competitive compensation, PTO/holidays, a 401(k) plan, and CLE reimbursement.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in good standing in New York State.
• Minimum of 5 years of practicing experience.
• Strong verbal negotiation skills and written legal analysis.
• High standard of professional ethics, discretion, and client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage a client caseload and draft legal documents.
• Draft legislative bill text and client contracts.
• Provide strategic counsel and coordinate with clients, lobbyists and staff.
