Job summary

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in good standing in New York State.
• Minimum of 5 years of practicing experience.

We specialize in developing targeted, campaign-based strategies to help our clients effectively communicate their messages and advance their legislative and regulatory objectives.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented attorney to join our legal team. Demonstrated experience working successfully with the Legislature and Executive agencies is a prerequisite; a background in political issue/advocacy campaigns is a plus.

In this role, you will manage a client caseload, draft legislative bill text, client contracts and other legal documents, and provide strategic counsel. You will work closely with clients, lobbyists, and support staff to deliver high-quality representation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in good standing within New York State
• A minimum of 5 years of practicing experience
• Strong verbal negotiation skills and written legal analysis
• High standard of professional ethics, discretion, and client confidentiality
