Job summary

Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS), Behavioral Health Administration (BHA), seeks a Policy Advisor III to support regulatory projects including research, analysis of statutory and regulatory needs/language, drafting, and stakeholder engagement. The role collaborates with Subject Matter Experts to produce policy, rules, and sub-regulatory guidance for behavioral health services.

The position coordinates policy development with other state departments and divisions, assists in publishing

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned.

Responsibilities

• Draft Rule in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts based on established theory and standards of care.
• Develop and present training and technical assistance materials to support promulgation, interpretation, and implementation of Rule.
• Support monitoring of compliance needs with Rule as directed by the Director of Regulatory Affairs.
