Job summary

The City of Prineville Police Department is seeking a Police Sergeant to supervise patrol operations, lead sworn and non-sworn personnel, and support the department's mission of keeping the community safe.

This role requires DPSST supervisory leadership competencies, strong leadership, accountability, and the ability to manage complex incidents and coordinate with the Lieutenant and Chief of Police.

Qualifications

• Must hold Basic Police Certification at time of application.
• 4 years of experience as a police officer or combination of experience and training.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification at time of application.
• Attend and pass DPSST Supervisory Leadership Academy (or accepted equivalency) prior to end of 12-month probation.
