Qualifications

• Three years of experience servicing, maintaining and repairing motor vehicles or equipment, with emphasis on major automotive repair work.
• Graduation from vocational/technical school may substitute for up to three years of required experience.

Responsibilities

• Replace or repair components on MSP vehicles and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose, repair brake, steering, electrical, and engine systems.
• Operate vehicle service tools and prepare repair orders.
• Road test vehicles to ensure safe operating condition.
• Enter inventory and log operation numbers per MSP procedures.
