This position performs law enforcement work at a University campus or other State facility. With full powers of arrest, the officer enforces the laws of the State and the United States Government. Responsibilities include traffic control, criminal investigations, patrolling an assigned area, responding to complaints or calls, detecting violations, apprehending violators, investigating violations or complaints to assess and handle cases, collecting and preserving evidence with chain of custody, testifying in court proceedings, and performing related work.
