Qualifications

• Certified as a police officer by DPSST or another state's standards.
• Current employment as an officer or separated within 24 months.
• Must be 21+, possess or able to obtain an Oregon driver’s license, with no felony or domestic violence misdemeanors.
• Physical and mental ability to perform duties, operate vehicles and equipment, and communicate effectively.
• Bi-lingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred.

Experience and Training

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of law enforcement experience.
• College coursework is desirable but not required.
• Equivalent experience and training may be substituted.
