The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) is seeking current Police Officers with two (2) or more years of uninterrupted full-time law enforcement experience, certified through a State Police Standards and Training Commission. Salary Range:
The MNPD operates 24/7; employees must be able to work any day and shift as needed. Education incentives are available for qualified candidates, and pre-academy hiring opportunities may exist. Regular days off are Saturday and Sunday.
Vacations are encouraged during late May to mid-August and holiday breaks. After-hours activities such as speaking engagements, sporting events, PTA meetings, and community presentations are expected.
