Job summary

City of Colorado Springs seeks a Police Logistics Support Manager to oversee CSPD’s Logistics Support Section, act as program account manager, and lead contract administration, safety, ADA, and fire safety functions.

You will also manage the department's fleet and quartermaster operations while ensuring budgets and safety compliance across facilities. This at-will, management-level role emphasizes strategic planning and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related area of study.
• Five years of full-time, professional experience in a related field, including one year of administrator and/or supervisory experience.
• CJIS - Security Awareness Training within six months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects by researching and drafting contract specifications; serve as contract administrator; review completed work and warranties; liaise with the construction project manager.
• Perform strategic planning and budget management by analyzing operational requirements; propose policy changes; monitor program accounts; issue guidance to supervisors.
• Administer card key and physical security programs by maintaining databases, processing background requests, and CCTV system administration.
• Manage the department’s vehicle fleet; coordinate with city fleet for repairs and purchases; allocate fleet; manage fleet budget.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of facilities; manage facility budget expenditures.
