Job summary

Garland invites applications for the Police IT Systems Analyst to manage and maintain police applications and systems, supporting the City of Garland information systems including requirements analysis, product evaluation, application implementation, and ongoing technology support.

The role serves as the primary administrator for evidence management and records management systems, while supporting up to 25 additional police applications, with a focus on reliability, security, and user training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; 2 years of related experience administering or running SQL reports from a Records Management System (RMS).
• Bachelor's degree preferred; 2-4 years experience in analyzing computer applications and maintaining complex apps.

Responsibilities

• Install, update, and maintain operating systems and application software.
• Perform application installs and upgrades.
• Install database software for OnCall Record (WebRMS).
• Onboard and offboard users and manage access to applications.
• End user support and training.
