Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services in Virginia is seeking a Foreman to supervise field crews and coordinate daily field operations for utility infrastructure projects in the Richmond area. You will plan work, allocate resources, and ensure safety and quality while meeting schedule targets.

Responsibilities include hiring and training a crew of up to ten, enforcing company policies, and maintaining data records. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required with Foreman Training Program completion.
  • Valid state driver’s license with no DUI/DWI in recent 5 years.
  • Ability to operate tablet/handheld data collection devices.
  • First Aid and CPR certifications preferred; pesticide license may be required.
  • DOT medical exam may be required for certain assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a field crew of up to ten employees across multiple job types.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate daily field operations and resources.
  • Hire, train, motivate, and manage staff; enforce safety and quality standards.
  • Ensure data accuracy for timekeeping, payroll, and work performed.
  • Operate/escort vehicles to job sites and oversee material and tool usage.
