Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. in Signal Hill, CA is seeking a pole foreman/foreman to lead 3-5-person crews in electrical facility maintenance outdoors.

You will organize work operations from start to finish, mentor crew members, and ensure safety standards while using tools like chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts. The role offers permanent, full-time employment with travel up to 75% and benefits including health insurance and a pension.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Ability to complete Electrical Hazard Awareness Program and OSHA Training.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Required: valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: Commercial Driver’s License-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement.
• Preferred: pole test and treat experience or other related work.
• Preferred: relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law.
