Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. is hiring a Utility Pole Assessment Foreman to lead daily field operations, supervise a crew, and ensure safe, efficient pole assessments and restoration work. This position emphasizes leadership, communication, and on-site accountability.

The Foreman will direct field crews, support employee development, maintain productivity goals, and professionally represent the company with customers and utility partners.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 19 years old.
  • Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with at least three years driving.
  • Strong leadership and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to motivate, train, and work with field crews.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate and maintain company vehicles and tools.
  • Willingness to travel locally, statewide, or regionally.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
  • Able to perform physically demanding work (up to 50–100 lbs).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily field operations and crew activities.
  • Perform utility pole assessments following safety procedures.
  • Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure timely completion.
  • Train and mentor crew members in safe practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and industry requirements.
  • Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in safe condition.
  • Complete documentation, reports, and project updates.
  • Monitor quality, productivity, and safety performance.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and utilities.
  • Support a positive team environment focused on safety and quality.
