Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Utility Pole Assessment Foreman to lead daily field operations, manage a crew, and ensure safe, quality pole assessments, maintenance, and restoration work.

This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to drive safety and performance across projects. You will supervise field crews, coordinate assignments, train staff, and uphold company standards while representing Osmose in interactions with customers, utility

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Previous leadership, crew lead, or foreman experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a minimum of three years of driving experience.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Ability to motivate, train, and work effectively with field crews.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to safely operate and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
• Ability to represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including regularly lifting and moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Willingness to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily field operations and crew activities.
• Perform utility pole assessments while following company standards and safety procedures.
• Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure projects are completed efficiently.
• Train, coach, and mentor crew members in safe work practices and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry requirements.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in safe working conditions.
• Complete required documentation, reports, and project updates accurately and timely.
• Monitor quality, productivity, and safety performance.
• Communicate professionally with customers, utility representatives, landowners, and community members.
• Support a positive team environment focused on safety, quality, and accountability.
