Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services Inc is seeking a Utility Pole Assessment Foreman to lead field operations, supervise a crew, and ensure pole assessments, maintenance, and restoration are performed safely and to company standards.

You will manage daily tasks, mentor team members, and coordinate with customers and utility representatives while traveling as required and maintaining high safety and quality expectations.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 19 years old.
  • Previous leadership, crew lead, or foreman experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to motivate, train and work with field crews.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to safely operate and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work (up to 50 lbs, occasionally 100 lbs).
  • Willingness to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily field operations and crew activities.
  • Perform utility pole assessments following safety procedures.
  • Coordinate daily work assignments for efficient project completion.
  • Train, coach, and mentor crew members in safe practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and industry requirements.
  • Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition.
  • Complete required reports and project updates accurately and timely.
  • Monitor quality, productivity, and safety performance.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, utility representatives, and community members.
  • Support a positive team environment focused on safety and accountability.
