The Polar Express Event Supervisor with Xanterra Travel Collection oversees day-to-day operations of the seasonal Polar Express event at the Grand Canyon Railway, coordinating between departments and the Production Supervisor to ensure a magical, on‑time experience for up to 2,376 riders nightly.

This role leads 30–40 cast members, schedules passenger cars, enforces hospitality standards, and handles guest needs while maintaining safety and EMS guidelines throughout the event run.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in hospitality, transportation, or event production.
• Minimum 3 years of customer service experience in hospitality.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily event activities to ensure seamless operation.
• Communicate with Production Supervisor to resolve issues and maintain production integrity.
• Oversee cast training and performance, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Assign passenger cars, manage work schedules, and direct nightly activities.
