Job summary

Grand Canyon Railway invites applicants for a part-time seasonal Polar Express Entertainer role during the holiday production at Williams Depot. The position runs from mid-October to early January, with a wage of $19.00 per hour plus tips. Schedule is full-time 5 days per week, weekends required, with shifts around 6 hours.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in public speaking.
• Must be open to performing in a live audience and maintain a good stage presence.
• Must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills in a live, fast-paced, guest-focused environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand and support Grand Canyon Railway’s Mission, Values, and Culture.
• Perform scripted narratives and portray the Chef and Character role during the nightly production.
• Interact with guests and hand out bells or treats while in character.
• Engage guests in holiday songs and maintain audience control.
• Ensure safety practices and proper boundaries, respond to guest emergencies as needed.
• Prepare train cars and ensure cleanliness and readiness for each ride.
