MGM Resorts International in National Harbor, Maryland, is seeking a friendly Poker Room Host to welcome guests, manage player lists, start games, and keep the action flowing while supporting dealers and ensuring smooth operations for a great guest experience.

Applicants should be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED; prior poker experience in casino operations is preferred. The role offers benefits, overtime when required, and a pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Prior poker experience within casino operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the placement of guests into games
• Develop customer relations and facilitate usage of the MGM Rewards card
• Explain rules and answer questions for guests
• Open games in accordance with the supervisor’s instructions
• Handle player transactions and maintain poker table banks with accuracy and efficiency
• Track player activity using internal systems to ensure accurate records
