Job summary

LCS is seeking a Clinical Systems Trainer to lead development and delivery of PointClickCare training for clinical staff across multiple communities. The role partners with clinical, operational, and IT leaders to ensure successful implementations, user adoption, and regulatory alignment.

The trainer will create resources, tailor curricula, and support go-live activities while staying current with PCC updates and approved workflows. Travel is involved to support implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in healthcare, education, or related field.
• 4–6 years of clinical systems training or healthcare technology experience.
• Experience delivering training to diverse audiences, virtual and in-person.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Problem-solving to identify training vs. workflow or configuration gaps.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and communities.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and privacy requirements.
• Hands-on PCC experience or similar clinical workflows preferred.
• Experience supporting PCC implementations, conversions, or go-lives preferred.
• Experience in senior living or long-term care settings preferred.
• Clinical license or background (RN/LPN or similar) preferred.
• Experience with adult learning, eLearning, or LMS platforms preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools and collaboration platforms preferred.
• Experience supporting workflow standardization and change initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging in-person and virtual PCC training for clinical staff.
• Tailor training plans to communities, departments, and user roles.
• Lead or support PCC implementations, conversions, and module rollouts.
• Coordinate training readiness, go-live support, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Create and maintain training resources, job aids, and FAQs.
• Ensure resources stay current with system upgrades and regulatory changes.
• Serve as PCC subject matter expert for clinical and operational teams.
• Gather feedback on usability, adoption barriers, and training effectiveness.
• Monitor adoption trends and identify opportunities for education and workflow improvements.
• Partner with clinical leadership to align PCC workflows with regulatory requirements and policies.
• Support change management by promoting adoption of new workflows and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integrations and vendor communications.
• Contribute to community readiness plans and ongoing clinical systems education.
