Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Part-Time Lab Point of Care Coordinator for St. Francis Downtown in Greenville, SC.

This role coordinates point of care testing across multiple locations, ensures timely reporting of results, and oversees device implementation and QA processes. Candidates should have an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field and 4 years of lab experience, plus MLT/MLS certification (ASCP preferred).

Qualifications

• Associates in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or Microbiology required.
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field preferred.
• 4 years of lab technician experience required.
• MLT or MLS certification by a recognized agency (preferably ASCP) required.

Responsibilities

• Works with nursing, physicians, employees, and management as needed to ensure Point of Care testing is running efficiently and effectively.
• Ensures timely reporting, read back, and documentation of critical tests and results.
• Implements Point of Care devices, instruments, and processes.
• Complies monthly workload and Quality Assurance and Quality Control reports.
• Develops, evaluates, and revises all processes or procedures; collects and analyzes data promptly.
• Maintains, troubleshoots, and takes corrective action with equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
