Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Medical Technology is required.
• Laboratory 3-5 years of experience.
• Medical Technologist license or eligibility with Tennessee Board.
• Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and Tennessee regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and monitor bedside-testing instruments used outside the Laboratory.
• Evaluate POC instrumentation for proper operation and reliable results.
• Maintain POC quality monitoring and regulatory documentation.
• Troubleshoot POC issues to ensure data integrity and patient safety.
• Evaluate new POC instrumentation and procedures; draft policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain training for end users on POC instruments.
• Serve as liaison between laboratory, other departments, Board, vendors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
