Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver podiatric-focused care in long-term care facilities and senior living communities. The role offers flexible scheduling and a competitive pay structure with benefits.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating foot and lower limb conditions, diabetic foot care, wound prevention, and mobility education while collaborating with facility staff for patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in NP from an accredited program.
• Active RN license and NP certification.
• 2-5 years podiatry post-training preferred.
• Long-term care/nursing home experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver diabetic foot care, wound prevention, and mobility education.
• Collaborate with facility staff for coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top outcomes.
• Document visits in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.
