Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver podiatric-focused care in long-term care, nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, and senior living communities. The role offers a flexible schedule and a compensation model based on revenue generated.

Responsibilities include podiatric assessment, diagnosing and treating foot conditions, diabetic foot care, wound prevention, and mobility education, with EMR documentation on an iPad and collaboration with facility staff.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in NP from an accredited program.
• Active RN license and NP certification (ANCC or AANP) required.
• 2–5 years experience in podiatry post-training preferred.
• Long-term care/nursing home experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver diabetic foot care, wound prevention, and mobility education.
• Collaborate with facility staff for coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top outcomes.
• Document visits in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.
