Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to deliver podiatric-focused care in long-term care, nursing homes, skilled nursing, and senior living facilities. Flexible scheduling and guaranteed patient volume support a strong start in this part-time role.

The NP must hold a Master’s degree with an accredited NP program, RN license, and NP certification, with 2–5 years in podiatry post-training preferred. BLS is required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree + completion of an accredited NP program (required)
• Active RN license + NP certification (ANCC or AANP required)
• 2-5 years’ experience in podiatry post-training (preferred)
• Long-term care/nursing home experience (preferred)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, independent settings

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions
• Deliver diabetic foot care, wound prevention, and mobility education
• Collaborate with facility staff for coordinated, patient-centered care
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top outcomes
• Document visits in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad
