Job summary

Upperline Health, Inc. is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to support physicians in our Maryland clinics (Catonsville, Columbia, Glen Burnie). The role combines clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced setting, with emphasis on patient comfort and accurate charting.

Experience in podiatry or orthopedics, x-ray skills, and familiarity with athena EMR are preferred. Strong computer literacy, excellent communication, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass background checks are

Qualifications

• Podiatry or Orthopedic clinic experience preferred.
• X-ray experience is a plus.
• Experience with athena EMR is preferred.
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Effective communicator with excellent grammar and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Place patients in exam rooms and prepare them for the physician.
• Complete exam intake including medical, social, surgical histories and current illness.
• Ensure accurate charting for the physician.
• Provide patient care under a podiatric physician including taking and developing x-rays.
• Perform daily administrative tasks such as stocking exam rooms.
• Clean and sterilize exam and x-ray rooms after each patient visit and daily.
• Meet and document required MIPS quality measures.
