Job summary

Upperline Health Florida is seeking an energetic Medical Assistant to support physicians in our Riverview clinic. You will assist with clinical and administrative tasks, including taking patient histories, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with x-rays as needed.

Ideal candidates will have prior Medical Assistant experience, with podiatry/orthopedic exposure and Athena EMR familiarity. Strong communication, empathy, and reliability are essential for daily patient care and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Previous Medical Assistant experience required.
• X-ray experience is a plus.
• Podiatry/Orthopedic clinic experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and medical terminology knowledge.
• Experience with Athena EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in clinical tasks in Riverview clinic.
• Place patients in exam rooms and prepare for visits.
• Take and develop x-rays as required.
• Document medical history and current illness details.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain exam rooms.
