Job summary

Upperline Health, a regional provider focused on lower extremity and wound care, seeks a Medical Assistant for our Dacula, GA clinic. You will support physicians with clinical tasks, perform intakes, vitals, and basic imaging, and help coordinate patient care with the care team.

Ideal candidates have podiatry or orthopedic exposure, X-ray experience, and strong communication skills. The role offers weekday clinic hours and a collaborative environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Podiatry or Orthopedic clinic experience preferred.
• X-ray experience is a plus.
• Clinical care coordination or care management experience is ideal.
• Experience assisting or providing care to geriatric patients preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and grammar.

Responsibilities

• Place patients in exam rooms and prepare them for the physician.
• Complete exam intake including medical, social and surgical history.
• Record vitals and documentation in Athenahealth EMR.
• Assist in exam room and take x-rays as required.
• Restock exam rooms and manage waste disposal.
• Clean and sterilize exam and x-ray rooms daily.
