Job summary

Ankle- Medical Center is seeking a dedicated podiatry Medical Assistant to support the clinic's back office and front desk tasks. The role focuses on patient prep, vitals, and assisting physicians during procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vitals and recording history in Epic.
• Escort patients to and from exam rooms and maintain patient flow.
• Schedule surgeries and coordinate with surgical centers and patients.
• Assist physician during procedures and provide injections as directed.
• Handle reception duties such as answering phones and data entry.
• Ensure clean and orderly exam rooms and sterilization of instruments.
• Perform basic dressings, casting, and X-ray assistance as needed.
• Verify insurance and manage patient records and communications.
