Ankle & Foot Centers of America is seeking a Podiatry Medical Assistant to support the foot and ankle care team. You will take vitals, document medical history, assist with procedures, and help with castings and orthotics as needed.

The role includes front-office support and light travel to other offices. Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, and preferably 1 year of MA experience with Epic experience and certification.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience preferred and Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares patients by taking vitals and recording medical history in Epic.
• Escort patients to and from exam rooms and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist physician with procedures and perform nail debridement and casting as needed.
• Schedule surgeries, prepare forms, and handle insurance verifications.
• Maintain inventory and ensure sterilization of instruments.
