Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group seeks a part-time Podiatrist to provide compassionate podiatric care in long-term care and senior living communities. You will assess, diagnose, and treat foot conditions, deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, and educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.

You will collaborate with facility staff, participate in Medicare quality programs, and document encounters in NextGen EMR using a company-issued iPad.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree required.
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience in long-term care/nursing home settings preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top-tier care.
• Document clinical encounters in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.
