Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group seeks a Podiatrist to provide compassionate podiatric care in long-term care, nursing homes, skilled nursing, and senior living communities. You will work with a motivated team that values excellence, integrity, and patient impact.

Position is part-time (1099) with flexible scheduling, compensation based on revenue, and company-issued iPad for EMR documentation. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• DPM degree required and active state licensure.
• Experience in long-term care/nursing home settings preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced settings and lift up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top-tier care.
• Document encounters in NextGen EMR on company-issued iPad.
