Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Podiatrist to provide compassionate care in long-term care, nursing homes, skilled nursing, and senior living communities. You will assess and treat foot and lower limb conditions, focusing on diabetic foot management and preventive care.

The role offers flexible scheduling with guaranteed patient volume and a revenue-based compensation structure. You will work with a supportive team and use NextGen EMR on an iPad for documentation.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree is required.
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience in long-term care/nursing home settings preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top-tier care.
• Document clinical encounters in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.
