Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Lab Technology (MLT) or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree with specified chemistry/biology course hours may also qualify.
• Must be able to work in a clinical lab and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived and nonwaived lab testing accurately and promptly.
• Follow hospital and lab safety policies and use PPE.
• Record patient data and test results in the LIS/EMR system.
• Participate in quality control, proficiency testing, and performance improvement.
• Maintain instrument maintenance logs and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Collaborate with team and other caregivers to ensure timely results.
