Job summary

HEICO Component Repair Group is seeking a Pneumatics Tester to join our skilled technical team in a fast-paced, FAA-regulated environment. You will perform functional and pressure testing on aircraft pneumatic components, ensuring safety and reliability before return to service.

You will read blueprints and manuals, operate manual and automated test equipment, analyze data, document test results, and collaborate with engineering and quality personnel to resolve issues and maintain high testing

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with a team and excellent communication skills.
• +2 years minimum experience in pneumatic testing.
• Proficiency with diagnostic and measurement tools (pressure gauges, flow meters, leak detectors).
• Basic computer skills for test documentation and data entry.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional and pressure testing on aircraft pneumatic components.
• Test, troubleshoot, and verify the functionality of pneumatic components (valves, regulators, actuators).
• Operate manual and automated test equipment.
• Analyze test data to verify performance and identify issues.
• Ensure components meet performance and safety standards before return to service.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Use diagnostic tools such as pressure gauges, flow meters, and leak detectors.
• Prepare and maintain accurate test reports and documentation.
• Identify testing discrepancies and communicate findings to technicians and engineers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe testing area.
• Support technicians, engineering, and quality personnel during testing and troubleshooting.

HEICO Component Repair Group, a global leader in the overhaul and repair of aircraft components, is looking for a Pneumatics Tester to join our talented technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is meticulous and technically minded to work hands-on with aviation components in a fast-paced, FAA-regulated environment.

As a Pneumatics Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of aircraft systems by conducting functional and pressure testing on pneumatic components.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct functional and pressure testing on aircraft pneumatic components.
• Test, troubleshoot, and verify the functionality of pneumatic components, including valves, regulators, actuators, and other related systems.
• Operate manual and automated test equipment.
• Analyze test data to verify component performance and identify potential issues.
• Ensure all components meet applicable performance and safety standards before being approved for return to service.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Utilize diagnostic and measurement tools such as pressure gauges, flow meters, and leak detectors.
• Prepare and maintain accurate test reports and documentation.
• Identify testing discrepancies and communicate findings to the appropriate technical personnel.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe testing work area.
• Support technicians, engineering, and quality personnel as needed during testing and troubleshooting activities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or sit at a bench for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting
• Ability to work in a shop and testing environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to mechanical equipment
