Job summary

HEICO Component Repair Group is seeking a Pneumatics Technician to join our skilled technical team in a hands-on role focused on repairing and testing pneumatic aircraft components. You will follow OEM manuals, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations to ensure devices meet airworthiness standards before return to service.

The role involves close collaboration with engineers, quality control inspectors, and other technicians to ensure repairs are completed accurately and on schedule,

Qualifications

• Experience with pneumatic components and systems.
• Ability to read OEM manuals and engineering drawings.
• Follows FAA regulations and AS9100 standards where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, disassemble, clean, repair, reassemble and test pneumatic aircraft components (valves, actuators, regulators, pumps).
• Troubleshoot pneumatic system malfunctions using manuals and schematics.
• Perform leak, pressure and functional tests to verify airworthiness.
• Read and interpret OEM manuals, engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Replace worn or non-conforming parts per approved repair procedures.
• Use precision measuring tools and pressure gauges to verify compliance.
• Document detailed repair, inspection and testing results.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or processes.
• Maintain clean, organized, and serviceable work areas.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, AS9100 standards and customer requirements.
