Job summary

HEICO Component Repair Group is seeking a Pneumatics Technician to join our hands-on repairs team in the Miami area. You will follow OEM manuals, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations to ensure components meet airworthiness standards before service release.

Work with engineers, QC inspectors, and other technicians to complete repairs accurately and on schedule. Responsibilities include inspecting, testing, and replacing pneumatic components, reading drawings, maintaining documentation,

Qualifications

  • Experience working with pneumatic components and systems.
  • Ability to interpret OEM manuals and engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, disassemble, clean, repair, reassemble and test pneumatic components.
  • Troubleshoot pneumatic malfunctions using manuals and schematics.
  • Perform leak, pressure and functional testing to verify airworthiness.
  • Read OEM manuals, drawings and work instructions.
  • Replace worn or non-conforming parts per approved procedures.
  • Use precision tools and gauges to verify specifications.
  • Document repairs, inspections and testing details.
  • Identify and report non-conforming materials or processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, serviceable work area.
  • Ensure FAA, AS9100, customer, and company compliance.

HEICO Component Repair Group, a global leader in the overhaul and repair of aircraft components, is looking for a Pneumatics Technician to join our talented technical team.

This position offers a dynamic, hands‑on environment where your mechanical skills will directly contribute to the performance and safety of commercial aircraft systems. As a Pneumatics Technician you will follow OEM manuals, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations to ensure all components meet quality and airworthiness standards before being released back into service. You will work closely with engineers, quality control inspectors, and other technicians to ensure repairs are completed accurately and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, disassemble, clean, repair, reassemble, and test pneumatic aircraft components including valves, actuators, regulators, and pumps
  • Troubleshoot pneumatic system and component malfunctions using manuals and schematics
  • Perform leak, pressure, and functional testing to verify performance and airworthiness
  • Read and interpret OEM manuals, engineering drawings, and work instructions
  • Replace worn, damaged, or non‑conforming parts in accordance with approved repair procedures
  • Utilize precision measuring tools and pressure gauges to verify compliance with specifications
  • Complete detailed repair, inspection, and testing documentation
  • Identify and report non‑conforming materials, components or processes
  • Maintain work areas clean, organized, and in serviceable condition
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, AS9100 standards, customer requirements, and company procedures
