Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission's Wichita Falls State Hospital seeks a Psychiatric Nursing Assistant IV Team Lead to coordinate PNAs and oversee daily patient care in an inpatient setting.

You will implement individualized recovery plans, supervise staff, and ensure safety and quality care under a licensed nurse. Evening and weekend shifts may be required; telework is not available.

Qualifications

• Four years of work experience required.
• At least three years Psychiatric patient experience preferred.
• At least three years Supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PNAs assignments to support daily living activities and recovery plans.
• Lead shift reports, participate in recovery/admissions teams, and ensure patient safety.
• Instruct PNAs on reporting, documentation, and care procedures under RN supervision.
• Promote teamwork, communication, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Provide guidance to PNAs, monitor medications administration learning, and assist with patient care.
