Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services is seeking a Psychiatric Nursing Assistant IV (PNA Team Lead) in El Paso to provide senior-level psychiatric nursing care in an inpatient setting under licensed nurse supervision. You’ll coordinate PNAs, support recovery plans, and help with daily living activities while ensuring safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Four years of work experience required.
• At least three years direct care experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates assignments and duties for PNAs; assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Promotes safety and monitors patient conditions; documents in electronic records.
• Precepts and trains new employees; participates in shift change and team meetings.
• Assists licensed nurse with medication administration and vital signs.
