Job summary

Abbott Park, IL-based role supporting the Project Management Office for capital projects across Abbott and Global Engineering Services. You will apply engineering knowledge, project management principles, and business acumen to drive successful project delivery throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires coordinating governance, planning, risk assessment, and reporting, while improving processes and sharing knowledge across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field, or equivalent technical experience.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide PMO support for capital project teams across Abbott divisions and GES.
• Assist governance activities from initiation to closeout.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and status updates for management and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain PMO tools, templates, and guidance materials.
• Mentor less experienced team members in planning and governance activities.
