Job summary

Corporate Environmental Risk Management, L.L.C. seeks a PMO Leader to establish and oversee the Project Management Office for engineering projects.

You will develop standardized PM methodologies, coordinate cross-functional teams, and guide portfolio decisions to optimize resources and mitigate risks. The role requires leading a PMO with 7+ years of construction PM experience, strong lifecycle knowledge, and excellent stakeholder management; PMP or advanced degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive project management experience in construction.
• Experience leading a PMO or multiple large-scale engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle: planning, scope, scheduling, budgeting, resources, risk, closeout.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management; supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain PMO frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Lead and mentor project managers and coordinators to ensure consistent PM application.
• Oversee planning and delivery of multiple construction projects, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Manage portfolio reporting, progress tracking, risk assessment, and resource management.
• Coordinate with finance and procurement to monitor budgets, contracts, and vendor performance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or Business Administration
