Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a PMO-focused professional in Arlington, VA to support technology implementation projects for utility and energy clients. You will assist with scheduling, reporting, and governance across multiple workstreams while coordinating meetings and stakeholders.

The role requires 4+ years in PMO/project controls in utilities or energy, strong communication, and proficient Office tools. Travel up to 10% is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• US citizen or US permanent resident required.
• Total years of experience must include 4+ years PMO, project controls, or similar in Utilities/Energy.
• Experience supporting technology implementation projects in utilities/regulatory sectors.
• Strong PMO methodologies, governance, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Provide PMO support to utility and energy provider clients on technology implementation projects.
• Support project planning, tracking, reporting, and governance across multiple workstreams.
• Assist with developing and maintaining project schedules, RAID logs, action items, status reports, and other PMO deliverables.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and materials, capture decisions, and follow up on action items to ensure timely completion.
• Partner with project managers, client stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive execution and issue resolution.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and facilitate mitigation planning and escalation as needed.
• Support process improvement to strengthen PMO practices, project controls, and delivery consistency.
• Contribute to clear and effective communication across internal teams and external client stakeholders.
