Job summary

Ascent Global Logistics in Belleville, Michigan, seeks a PMO professional to own the operational backbone of the PMO. You will manage intake, governance, SDLC workflows in Jira/Confluence, and executive reporting to drive portfolio visibility.

Lead cross-team coordination, risk and release governance, and use AI to automate reporting while ensuring accuracy and governance across IT projects. This role offers competitive benefits and a clear path to lead PMO initiatives.

Qualifications

• Six or more years in PMO operations, project coordination or delivery operations.
• Strong hands-on Jira and Confluence administration experience.
• Deep knowledge of Agile delivery practices and the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Own intake as the single front door for IT work, triage requests and route/handoff to delivery teams.
• Lead executive communication on intake and work prioritization for clear leadership visibility.
• Maintain SDLC workflow and Agile practices across delivery teams in Jira/Confluence.
• Run risk registers, CABs and release governance; manage dashboards and capacity reporting.
• Build and maintain automations to surface stale work and blocked items; apply AI to automate reporting.
