Job summary

Orano USA is offering a paid Project Management Internship at Project IKE in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. You will be embedded with the Project Manager and support the PMO across strategic analysis, stakeholder communications, project coordination, and business support functions.

This rare early-career opportunity provides exposure to capital project governance, schedules, risk, and communications, with mentorship from experienced managers. Summer 2027, 10 weeks, May to August.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business management, engineering, administration, strategy, marketing, project management, public policy, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience or coursework in at least two of strategy, marketing, or project management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear narratives.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task across workstreams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Professional maturity for a high-stakes, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support executive-level briefings, project status reports, and decision-support materials for leadership and senior stakeholders.
• Research and synthesize information on industry trends, regulatory developments, and stakeholder considerations.
• Prepare governance reviews, milestone reporting, and internal leadership presentations.
• Track action items, milestones and deliverables across functional areas.
• Contribute to development of project schedules and work plans with the construction PM.
• Support document control and filing with the Document Management Specialist.
• Assist in aligning messaging across technical, commercial, and regulatory workstreams.
