Job summary

ARCO Companies is seeking a strategic Director of Program Management to spearhead the IT PMO and drive enterprise-wide execution excellence across the technology portfolio. You will establish governance, portfolio practices, and delivery standards to align tech initiatives with business strategy.

You will oversee a team of Project Managers, define prioritization frameworks, optimize resources, and own execution performance at the portfolio level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years IT project/program management experience with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience leading/transforming an enterprise PMO.
• Strong delivery of software, infrastructure, SaaS, and digital initiatives.
• Proven budget oversight of large portfolios.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a team of Project Managers.
• Mature enterprise PMO governance, standards, tools, and methodologies.
• Own demand-to-project lifecycle, capacity planning, and portfolio prioritization.
• Oversee large, cross-functional technology programs from ideation to value realization.
• Develop portfolio KPIs, financial tracking, and executive reporting.
• Drive risk management and proactive issue escalation.
• Partner with business leaders, tech teams, and external vendors.
• Champion change management and adoption strategies.
