Job summary

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) seeks a seasoned PMO Director to lead the Project Management Office under the Deputy General Manager. You will oversee complex programs, coordinate CIP execution, manage staff and consultants, and report on budgets and progress to senior leadership.

You will drive contract administration, ensure alignment with CIP priorities, resolve design and construction challenges, and uphold diversity, equity and inclusion across all activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering (minimum).
• 7+ years of progressively responsible project management and engineering experience.
• Professional licensure: PMP or CCM required within two years; Virginia PE preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight to manage all PMO functions.
• Develop and implement annual CIP execution plan and schedules.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and personnel; ensure deliverables on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with executives, staff, and stakeholders; prepare financial and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with diversity, equity, and inclusion.
