Job summary

Thales in Austin, TX is seeking a PMO Specialist to join the Identity and Biometrics Solutions team. You will provide advanced analytical, governance, reporting and project-management support across the NORAM portfolio, partnering with Project Managers, Finance, Operations, and leadership to improve visibility and decision-making.

Responsibilities include developing dashboards, KPI definitions, data validation, and executive-level reporting; driving governance and continuous improvement; and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in PMO, portfolio management, or analytics.
• Experience developing and monitoring KPIs, dashboards, and executive-level presentations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a cross-functional environment.
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze complex project data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, reports, visualizations, and tools for portfolio performance insights.
• Prepare and present analytical findings to management and senior leadership.
• Establish and monitor portfolio KPIs, methodologies, and governance practices.
• Lead monthly executive project and portfolio reviews, including financials and KPI variances.
• Partner with PMO, Finance, Operations, and Engineering to resolve data inconsistencies.
• Promote Thales governance processes across NORAM projects and conduct internal reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting, analytics, and governance processes.
